Plant belonging to the Hyacinthaceae family, whose name derives from the particular physiognomy that the flower assumes when closed, similar to a rooster’s comb. It is a bulbous, perennial plant native to various areas of the world. The inflorescences can be white or orange in color and appear in spring. The foliage, on the other hand, is lanceolate and green.
