Limone Meyer

Fruit plant belonging to the Rutaceae family, native to India. The lemon can exceed five meters in height and is characterized by thorny branches. The foliage is initially reddish, then gradually greener. It produces pleasantly scented inflorescences. The fruits, on the other hand, usually yellow in color, but also white and green, have a rounded shape, with pointed apexes. The pulp is quite sour. Under favorable conditions it can bloom again all year round.
