Cyclamen

Plant belonging to the Primulaceae family, bulbous, herbaceous, perennial, originally from the eastern Mediterranean area. Its name comes from the word kyklos, “round”, due to the shape of its bulb. It is characterized by five-petaled flowers, of various colors, from white, to fuchsia, through red and by leaves in mottled green, heart-shaped.
