Known botanically as Drosanthemum hispidum, Barba di Giove is a succulent plant native to South Africa, belonging to the Aizoaceae family. It has a drooping habit and is ideal for creating rock gardens or for cultivation in pots. The foliage is rather small, round in shape, greyish green, covered with fluff. It produces daisy-like inflorescences, in colors tending to pink or red, from May until the early autumn months.
