Saxifraga

Plant belonging to the Saxifragaceae family, native to many areas of the world, given the large number of existing species. Its name derives from the union of two terms săxum = stone and frangĕre = to break, due to its characteristic of growing in rock gardens. They are small plants characterized by foliage arranged in a rosette and by small inflorescences that appear in spring, of various colors.
