Vinca

Plant belonging to the Apocynaceae family, native to the Tropics and Europe, also known as periwinkle. The name vinca derives from the Latin “vincire” or “to bind”, due to the characteristic of the stems to bind to the ground. It is characterized by intense green foliage, covered with white veins. From late spring to autumn, it produces pink or white five-petaled flowers. They are ideal for creating borders, thanks to the abundant flowering.
