Melograno

The pomegranate is a plant belonging to the Lythraceae family, native to Asia, introduced by the Romans from the Carthaginian populations. It is a small tree covered with a greyish bark. It is characterized by small, rounded foliage, initially reddish in color, then gradually greener. It produces orange-red inflorescences, often also available in white. These are followed by the fruits, called balustrades, which contain numerous seeds.
