Mandevillea

Climbing plant, with large wrinkled and intense green foliage belonging to the Apocynaceae family, native to South America. The flowers appear in the summer months and are funnel-shaped, pink with rather abundant five petals. Requires semi-shaded exposure. Watering must be regular, allowing the soil to dry before watering again. It can be fertilized in the milder months with a specific product for flowering plants every fortnight. Requires well drained soil.
